I bought two of these units. One of them doesn't always power on, and when it does, non of the other features work. I installed new batteries but the unit still did not work properly.

The other units battery cover would not stay on, it appeared to be badly molded plastic. However this unit would come on and the buttons seemed to work appropriately.

Using this unit on a Lab, a Miniature Collie, and a B1chon, proved the unit is totally useless. To be honest, they didn't even seem to notice it was on them. The unit has two modes of sensitivity, high and low. And it has two audible alarm settings, Audible, and Ultra Sonic. The dogs barks would trigger the unit, but the audible and the ultrasonic settings didn't have any effect on the dogs whatsoever.

In my humble opinion, try another brand other than this one.

I bought the collar from harbor freight. It was a joke. My dog played with it when I was testing it off of his neck. When I placed it on his neck, it was too awkward to use. Returned for a refund.

It just doesn't do it because of noises, but because of a sensor of movement in her neck. If she moves her head, it goes off, which is not useful at all.Don't waste your money!

As soon as we put it on the dog the battery cover popped off. We found it and put it back together and put it back on the dog. She ran across the yard and when she came back the battery and cover were gone. We've never been able to find new ones.

This is probably the worst product I have ever tried. I have three dogs and bought three collars. One did not work right out of the box so I exchanged for another one. After a week or two the plastic part that holds in the batteries started to fall off and we lost batteries and covers. The sound was not loud enough to even get the dog's attention. I returned all three for a refund.

My dog only used this a few times. If she peed too close to the edge, it leaked out between the sides and onto the carpet. If you fold it up to move it, it is clumsy because there is no way to fasten it closed.
Would not recommend it for a small dog.

I bought this last year when we had adopted out 4 mo. Lab who was not house broken. I bought the potty pad and the spray to help ease house training, and she did not respond or attempt to use this even once. The only time she ever gave it any notice, she just laid on it as though it were her bed. Too bad -- my husband ended up pulling the 'I told you so' card on me.

My mini doxie was 18 mos old when I ordered this. He was trained to go on a wee wee pad instead of going outside. Unfortunately, after i purchased this he chose to go on the bare floor instead of using the floor protector tray. After 1 week of this I just put back the pad and removed the tray. I probably should have started him with the tray from the begining. Now it's too late.

I purchased this to fit inside a playpen for my dog but it really didn't fit so I ended up sending it back. It seemed like it would work well but I don't think it's a necessity.
