So your teaching us how to instruct our dogs to play fetch with a dog that already knows how?
Nice video. If anyone is interested in I also just posted a tutorial about teaching a dog to play fetch – if you’re having some difficulty with this one – check it out :- )
I Have My pekingese Dog For 2 Weeks She Is 2 months Old and I already Taught her To Come When I call her To Jump to sit To Lay Down And To Roll Over .. I always Give her Treats After each thing she Does
!
@M0NKEYDLUFF That’s cool, Pitbulls and Rottweilers are my favorite dogs, people think they are mean, but they just take it the wrong way, if you don’t teach your dog to be mean it won’t turn out mean, it may still be a rowdy dog, but that’s just the natural way of a pitbull and rottweiler to play.
Oh yah and Sapphire (my dog) she learned how to sit at two months old too, and now she learned how to jump up and give me a kiss, I pretty much teach her a trick every month
my rottweiler 2 months old just learned sit in 1 time of training – all i needed was 3 kibbles and he learned it! =D
same.
I have a 5 month old blue pitbull puppy, and she is so smart!!! She already knows how to sit, shake hands, lie down, and roll over, I work with her a lot!! I love her sooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!
my dog will fetch and shake his head with the toy, but he wont bring it back
that is terrible advice
Never give a dog a long stick to play with. I had a stick about 20 inches long and threw it down the road, the dog grabbed it near one end and started running. The loose end of the stick stuck into the ground, causing it to be ripped from her mouth, taking a bad tumble and giving an abrasion on her belly.
Have you seen the show “It’s Me or the Dog”?? The trainer gives lots of great tips on how to use positive reinforcement and lots of treats to teach your dog what you want in a fun way. I would get two of the same toy and teach him the “Leave it” command. When he gets interested and guards one toy, wave another toy and get him to drop the first toy. Say “Leave it” when he drops it, and continue the game!
i hve a jack russel.. nd ermm…he is impossible…u throw somin nd he goes afta it nd getz it nd then runz circles around me! but i stil love him
