  3. draper46 says:

cheers for the advice and i’ll certainly keep you in mind should she needs to go, alot of things are common sense are’nt they? dobes are great they’re little comedians, mine has me in stitches!

  4. aiva56 says:

Thanks, but Im gonna wait before I buy a dobermann, to buy a dobermann I need a big house and some space I can have it on, otherwise its too much job,

there’s great videos out there on training dogs, also there’s that show on animal planet, “its me or the dog” which sometimes show many things that we never realized would make a difference in the dogs life… plus if you have a dobie, than you probably have the easiest dog to train you could get… and if you dont like her, i’ll take her, i love dobies hehehe

  6. draper46 says:

ive only had her nearly a year and shes 3, shes too pampered, so i know its my fault, but her previous owners were quite bad to her, but im trying!!

  7. VituMV says:

if you can read english, then there’s a good chance you will find online books…

  8. VituMV says:

dobie’s are the best dogs for training, they pick things up easily and fast, but they’re always going to be dogs; just be patient and love your dog, he will be trained in no time

  9. VituMV says:

a dog’s behavior is reaction to the owner’s treatment… im sure you treat your dog the best way possible, but we are never too good to get an outsider’s perspective… i strongly believe that no matter what breed, each dog has it’s own characteristics, and it’s never too late to fix something… forgive me if I’m wrong

well, good luck with all your doberman training, i have THEE most stubborn girl i have ever met on four legs

@jleebesaw did u train the dog like the second day, and like everyday? i gonna buy a dobermann in like a month when i move to thailand(phuket). how long does it take to learn the dog? like an hour for a commando ?

  12. jleebesaw says:

to the person with concerns about training a dobe. make sure yo get lots of stuff for him to chew on. mine chews like crazy but so far hasnt chewed up anything that hes not supposed to.

  13. jleebesaw says:

i have a great little doberman pup that i just got about three weeks ago. he is red colored. he is so smart, its hard to believe how quickly he learns things. 13 weeks old now and pretty much mastered his basic commands already. he is house trained but not completly reliable yet. amazing dog!!!

  14. CardiffCasual101 says:

    im going buy one soon

  15. erick9182 says:

thanks and im going to get 2 dobe puppies the lab is older 1 year 2 months but my lab is friendly, plays all day and with all dogs (its male) and i think if i raise the dobes as i did with my lab there is not going to be any trouble.. thanks…

  16. MyHensley says:

a amle and female dobe will usually get along. 2 females will get along, after they decide who is boss. 2 intact males will NEVER get along. As fot the lab, depends on the gender of the lab. If the Dobes are puppies, you should be okay if you know what you are doing, although I bought a 2 1/2 month old Dobe that hopped out of the car when I took it home the 1st time, and it challenged my 2 year old dobe within 5 seconds after arriving!

  17. MyHensley says:

My cat chases the laser light, but my Dobe sees it, and walks over to the laser itself, as if to say “ya can’t fool me; I know where the light comes from!”

  18. MyHensley says:

There are essentially 5 groups that do the rating. One group rates the dobe in the top 5 most trainable dogs. The other 4 groups tate the Dobe as the #1 most trainable dog. The problem is, they aren’t dogs! Ask ANY Dobe or their owner/ownee… they know what I mean!

  19. aiva56 says:

thats the bad part in sweden I cannot find any books (good one) even the dobermann club says damn there isnt any books in swedish I should move to us there is everything

  20. reginaorlosky says:

I suggest you read a book about dobermans first. Your dobe will be only as good as you raise and train him.

  21. aiva56 says:

I even want my dog to sleep in my own bed most owners doesnt like it and they start when the puppie is young to let it sleep on the floor otherwise it gets used to the bed me I dont see that as a problem I want it ont he bed with me. I would love my dobermann but I demand loyality and a dog who has harmoni and loves me back nothing more. Its the perfect dog for me and I wanted a rottweiler before and they are perfect too but a dobermann fits my personality alot more!=)

  22. aiva56 says:

No no not fighting spec with other digs Im not looking for that in my ownership with dogs. But what other ppl do with their own dogs is not of my business. I will love my dog as my own son and gently treat it but I demands a few things from my puppie/dog I demand that it guard me and my family if the hosue start to burn or a man or a woman=9 breaks into my house I demand that the dog is protective if not then I have a big problem and have to get rid of it.

  23. aiva56 says:

I stil get mails from youtube that veruy little ppl warns me that the dobermann is demanding alot of money and alot of time from his owner and these dogs demand alot! that scares me. reginaorlosky you said you had 3 dobbes none male? cause male is the one Im gonna buy and they are little bit more difficulter I heard but not impossible to shape just little bit more time and willing.

  24. aiva56 says:

I heard from one kennel that I shouldnt choose by sitting infront the litter and choose one puppie cause puppies may have diffrent behavoiur when they have their siblings in company. That I should move the puppie from the litter and play and talk to it and see how it follows me and plays with me, and if doesnt have intrest of me and doesnt wanna play and follow me that means this is a dog that needs expirience from his owner and want to explore the world by itself

  25. reginaorlosky says:

Oh… one more thing to remember. If you want your dog to fight, my advice is not for you. Dogs, like human beings, should be civilized and respectful. Once you teach your dog that, you can be proud and totally happy dog owner! Too many people are very irresponsible dog owners and it is a pity.
