@DrSooz I mean that I didn’t asked your opinion about my comment. And of course anyone is free to say anything.

…including in your FOOD, because it floats in the air, even! Mine have been dead 4 years and I still find dog hair everywhere (and we even MOVED)!

  6. DrSooz says:

Usually, they’re considered full-grown at 18 months, like most large-ish medium dogs. Mine got bigger than most, way tall!! (It must’ve been the good nutrition!)

  7. DrSooz says:

    YOU’RE SO LUCKY, CHAYA!

  8. DrSooz says:

No — those are mostly Siberians. Are you going by their ear position? Or what other criteria?

  9. DrSooz says:

Do you mean, “Did I ask you?”? What does “Did I ASKED you” mean?

We’re trying to impress the other species lol. Like Dogs for example, they think we’re super cool. They follow us wagging their tails, they get all excited when we come home from school. However, with humans like you on our side who reply to like 30 comments in one hour. We might start to slip down in the cool species department. LMAO JK man.

  12. Mishellis says:

    Did i asked you?

  13. DrSooz says:

Who cuts their husky’s fur?!?!?!? I never have, and I haven’t ever known anyone who did — unless there was a skin condition, or we needed to find a vein and couldn’t.

  14. DrSooz says:

    The “coolest species”???

If we can be in (“cool”) that means we can be out. A “cool” species. Interesting concept. Who are we trying to impress? That’s the reason anyone cares about being cool.

  15. DrSooz says:

Heavy work is usually done by Alaskan malamutes. They compete in weight-pulling contests. Fast, zippy sledding is the Siberian husky’s forte.

  16. DrSooz says:

    Be CAREFUL.

Go to the SPCA’s website and look up puppy care around the holidays. There are MANY hazards, from open front doors to chocolate. IMO, new puppy at xmastime = anxiety and injury for the puppy. They settle in much better some other time of year (like mid-to-late January!).

Never heard of it before got a website link?

  18. DrSooz says:

“How much are the puppy husky’s cost?”
    ““““““““““““““““““““`
Oh gawd!!!! They’re EXPENSIVE. Try Siberian husky Rescue! Also the pound — people give them up often, because they’re such cute puppies, but difficult adults. So they just give up and dump the dog.
and it’s “How much do the husky puppies cost?”

Did you try Siberian husky Rescue? They won’t charge you a grand!!

I have one and they are great pets, they are not destructive at all
    ““““““““““““““`
It’s not true of most of them, you just can’t say “they’re not destructive at all” since you walk yours 2 hours a day! A lot of us can’t walk them that much….And the puppies ARE destructive, every puppy is. Teething, asserting dominance (or trying to), etc.

Your idea about being at work too much being unfair to the dog is CORRECT!!! Good for you!!

I suggest reading everything you can find about them, then find someone who has a bunch of them and go to visit. (Wear old clothes that can get dirty!) Get on Usenet & look for the Siberian Husky group, read the comments & lurk. Ask them questions after you’ve been there a while. LEARN EVERYTHING YOU CAN ABOUT SIBES. Try to get one thru Siberian Rescue instead of buying a new puppy — you’ll save yourself stress, & you’ll give a lonely dog a home! YAY!!

  23. DrSooz says:

    “torchering”???????
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA

  24. DrSooz says:

Bonding with a Sibe isn’t always easy….Do you have personal experience with a lot of them? They’re usually quite independent, not cuddle & smooch dogs. They’d rather lie next to a drafty door. (Nice & COLD)
